The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and cared for. Breakfast each morning was a true highlight—a delicious starter, followed by a rotating main dish, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, and it always ended with a delightful bite-sized treat. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and so satisfying. The suite room was perfect for the three of us—cozy yet spacious enough to relax after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to all the key sights of Old Quebec City, including the Christmas markets, the historic battalion walls, and plenty of other attractions. We even enjoyed a fascinating ghost tour nearby and afternoon tea at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac! On the morning of our departure, we had to leave early, and the hostess brought a lovely breakfast to our room. It was such a thoughtful touch that perfectly summed up the care and hospitality we experienced during our stay. This is a gem of a B&B run by the sweetest couple, and we can’t recommend it enough. My wife and had the fortunate opportunity to stay at Le Coureur Des Bois October 27 - 29. The location is fantastic. Short walking distance to all of the Old City. The property is set in a beautiful old building, approximately 175 years old. Nicole and Claude are excellent hosts. Very polite and friendly. Breakfast was delicious in their beautiful dining room. Very convenient location, walkable to everything. Parked for $20/day in recommended covered lot <5 min walk away; easy temp street parking for loading/unloading. Came for business at Quebec City convention center which was super close. Room was clean, bathroom renovated and top notch. I never got to utilize the breakfast as the scheduled time was always after my conference started. Host was very kind and helpful. I'm a light sleeper and could hear the other guests coming and going at night, but the street is otherwise quiet. Was able to customize our room's temperature to our liking for the cold outside. Nice B&B, well located in old town, access to B&B is in very slopy street it is a little bit tricky with suitcases. Great people and great breakfast.
